Confirmation

Confirmation, one of the three Sacraments of Initiation into the Catholic Church is normally celebrated in our Archdiocese when children are in Year 6.  It provides an opportunity for our children as they start to mature, to re-commit to the faith their parents entrusted to them at the time of their baptism. Like each of our Sacramental programs, the time of Confirmation provides parents with an opporunity to refresh their own understanding and commitment to their own faith, and so parents play an integral role in the preparation of thier children.

Our program includes a parents' reflection evening, three evenings wiht paretns, chidlren and group leaders and a reflection day for the whole group together.

Preparation Program for Candidates and Parents, Tuesday 14 May, Tuesday 21 May, Tuesday 28 May,  7.00pm Parish Hall

Commitment Masses: The Weekend of 18-19 May

Retreat Day: 31 May
