We welcome Fr Michael Carroll as the new Parish Priest of Hunters Hill Catholic Parish.He comes to us from St Patricks in The Rocks. He has ministered in Marist parishes from Gladstone in central Queensland to Burnie in Tasmania and also as as a chaplain at Royal Brisbane Hospital.
For the first half of 2023 he undertook a Marist Sabbatical at La Nyliere near Lyons in France. It was during that time that he was able to visit the places of significance in Marist history. Before ordination he undertook his theological studies at Villa Maria Hunters Hill and was much involved in the liturgical life of the parish. Fr Michael is a gentle, kind man with a keen pastoral sense. He is very excited to learn and understand the way our parish operates. He is looking forward to connecting with Villa Maria Primary School, our local catholic high schools, local public schools and all of our commuity. Welcome Fr Michael! |
