Inter-Church Council
This group meets regularly every three months and includes among its members, clergy and laity from the Anglican, Presbyterian, Uniting, Congregationalist, and Catholic Churches.
Highlights of our year ecumenically include shared services at local public schools, and the Good Friday Stations of the Cross Walk which annually attracts some 800 participants.
The local clergy also meet regularly as a means of mutual support and information-sharing. The group sponsors a "Unity Candle" which travels from church to church each month and is held in each church as a reminder of our belonging to the wider Christian family. The handing over of the candle each month is done during a Sunday service/Eucharist.
